I started dieting on 11th May 2006 and reached my goal of losing a total of 8 stone on 17th June 2008.

In order to raise money for a very good cause (and to help me stay motivated to keep the weight off) your sponsorship would be greatly appreciated. Kind friends and family have been sponsoring me since I had a stone left to lose and your help is very much appreciated.

Both of our children, Oliver and Scarlett, have had cause to use Derby Children's Hospital, and continue to do so on a regular basis. The care they have received (and the support given to James and myself) has been excellent and I felt that it was time to give a little back.

For those of you that know Oliver and Scarlett you will appreciate how the hospital has helped both of them, and as such I would ask you to dig as deep as possible.
