We support people who are homeless to help them out of homlessness

Story

Two foolhardy runners, 13.1 miles of solid Nottingham street, one goal...to raise money for Emmanuel House (and hopefully to finish the race too!)

We are two members of the University of Nottingham's Catholic Society, who are running the Robin Hood Half Marathon in aid of Emmanuel House, a day centre which supports homeless and vulnerable people in Nottingham. They provide basic essentials, like hot meals and showers, and welcome people on the margins of society.

Emmanuel House are dependent on donations, as the city council has cut the majority of their funding. So please give whatever you can... here are some ideas:

£ 11:79 (the cost of each visit to Emmanuel House);

£ 13:10 (£ 1 for each mile of the half marathon).

Any other support for us (prayers/well-wishes/food parcels etc.) is most welcome!

Thank you - see you at the finish line!

Conor and Gaby
