I am running for Percy Hedley Foundation again in the Great North Run on September 18th 2011 - I was unable to say no when I was asked to support them again. This is such a worthwhile, practical Charity. Personally, I run because I am inspired by Jessica who has finished her school days at Percy Hedley and has spent the last year at College in Lancaster. She is a remarkable young woman who has been helped enormously by the services provided by this great school.
This Foundation helps disabled children and adults to achieve their potential. Their services include nursery, primary and secondary education, respite and therapy and a Sports Academy amongst many other services.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation. If you would prefer to pay by cheque or cash please let me know.
