Story

Thank you so much for visiting Dave and Lorraine Cunningham's fundraising page.

On the 13th June 2009 Dave and I will participate in the 54 mile Caledonian Challenge.  This walk commences at  Gairlochy  and joins the stunning West Highland Way; by-passing Loch Leven, Glencoe, Rannoch Moore, and finishing (hopefully) at Strathfillan.  The walk is completed in 24 hours!!!

Our team is working in association with Cath's Challenge www.cathschallenge.com and Hearts and Balls Charitable Trust to raise funds to buy equipment for Cath Thomson.

Cath, a 62 year old Gullane woman, with an amazing zest for life contracted Septicaemia in December 2008 .  This resulted in a double leg amputation and loss of sight in one eye.  We hope to buy; an adjustable bed, portable ramp, and a more functional prosthetic leg to allow Cath to continue with her much loved 'power-walking'.
