Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. HIKE CUBA IS NOW TAKING PLACE FROM 2ND -10TH MARCH 2008, so please dig deep and sponsor us online. Since July 2001, after losing her right leg, Kiera and her best friend Cathy have taken part in a number of fundraising activities to raise money to help other amputees. Between us we have Cycled across Egypt, from Lands End to John O'Groats, from London to Brighton, London to Paris, and we have walked the Great Wall of China and Hiked the Himalayas (Cathy only, as Kiera was pregnant). Between us we have raised in the region of £20,000 towards the work of the Douglas Bader Foundation. However, we know that without our support and that of other fundraisers the charity will not be able to continue it's invaluable work, so we are off again. This time to Cuba on 2nd March 2008 to walk through the eco-forest. Please do support us, as we endaevour to make a difference to the lives of others.
