My story

 

Thank you for visiting rYico's fundraising page. This page has been set up to raise funds for Centre Marembo, rYico's youth resource centre.

Rwandan Youth Information Community Organisation (rYico) is a charity that works to support and empower vulnerable young people in . In 2005 it opened Centre Marembo, a youth resource centre based in Kigali which primarily supports young people who have been orphaned, neglected or left in very difficult conditions, particularly as a result of the 1994 genocide.

These young people rely on Centre Marembo for food, shelter, advice, training and schooling. To provide a secure future for the young people, rYico is running the Centre Marembo Appeal so that it can build its own centre.

Why not ‘Buy a Brick’?
Anyone can ‘Buy a Brick’ at a cost of £5 to support the new build and you can buy as many as you like!

If you'd rather note donate online, you can also donate via cheque (made out to ‘rYico’) which can be sent to the address below. Please state that the donation is for the ‘Centre Marembo Appeal’.

If you are donating by cheque and are a taxpayer, rYico can claim tax back on your donation if you complete the Gift Aid declaration http://www.ryico.org/extras/s_o_form.pdf. 

If you donate online, Justiving will calculate the Gift Aid and pay it to rYico automatically.

In recognition of your donation, your name will be added to the appeal page on the rYico website.
