 Our goal for 2007 is to raise funds for the CF Trust charity, by staging some high profile concerts in the UK. 

Our beautiful 10 year old daughter, Hannah, has Cystic Fibrosis, which is a genetic medical condition, causing lung damage as well as pancreatic and stomach problems to which there is currently no cure.

However, the CF Trust charity has made great progress into helping sufferers of this terminal condition and are much closer to curing the lung problems, which is the major cause of illness and death in CF. Scientists have developed a product to correct the gene defect found in the lungs and are planning a single clinical trial for 2007 followed by a multi-dose trial in 2008, funding permitting.

It costs £3million each year to fund the CF Scientists Consortium alone and these trials will cost an additional £4.7million. Therefore, because this medical breakthrough is so important and this cause is so close to my heart, We thought the best way we can help is to raise funds (and awareness) by organising some high profile concerts. As a parents and musicians, we feel this would be a very positive way of helping Hannah and all CF sufferers live longer and healthier lives.

Times and venues are flexible as we intend to put on one artiste at a time to ensure we raise as much money as possible. As we live in the south, we have contacts at venues such as Portsmouth Guildhall and Ferneham Hall, Fareham. However, any location in the UK is fine as we'll travel anywhere for the cause and the CF Trust has area managers throughout the UK to help.
