About the charity : Scannappeal Scannappeal
Scannappeal was founded in1987 and raises funds for vital medical equipment for hospitals in Buckinghamshire, particularly for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients. Sixteen appeals for equipment have now been completed, raising over £7m. This equipment has been used by one in seven of the local population.

Wycombe Wanderers Football Club are supporting Scannappeal this season.  Their goal is to help purchase advanced specialist equipment for Wycombe Hospital to diagnose and treat patients with prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer is the commonest cancer and the second commonest cause of cancer death, in men.
