Thank you for visiting the Champion for Childrens Run fundraising page.   By donating through justgiving you are helping to support me to raise money for Childrens Hospice South West.

The Champion for Childrens Run will take place from 14th & 15th May 2010 and will see me run 140 miles in one go right across the South West, starting at  Saltash in Cornwall and finishing at my home town of Radstock in North Somerset !    I have chosen to start the run at Saltash because through the kind support and generosity of public donations, there is a new hospice due to be built just outside St Austill in Cornwall,  ( Little Harbour ) this needs vital fundraising which i aim to support for the families in the Plymouth and Cornwall region as well as the other two hospices - Littlebridge at Barnstaple and Charlton Farm in Wraxall nr Bristol.

6 Years ago i found myself unable to walk due to severe illness, but through the  courage and inspiration of others this will see me undertake my greatest challenge to date

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Remembering your support will help to keep me going through all 140 miles, but more essentually help to make the most of short and  precious lives at the Childrens Hospice South West -  a truly wonderful cause.

Thank you,

John  and all at the Childrens Hospice South West.     www.championrun.org.uk
