My story

Febuary 2004 saw me vertually a prisioner in my own body after it went into constant painful muscle spasms, swapping medication for determination i managed a month later to walk a mile, then 5 months on through true determination and the will to fight so strongly for my future i jogged / walked my first half marathon. After loosing two very close cousins to illness, i leared to turn grief into positive emotion and started to raise money for terminally ill children and their families.Eight years later from the dream of completing my first mile i now plan to beat the current world record of running 408 miles in seven days by running 450 miles in 6.5 days and show that sometimes impossable dreams can come true if you truly believe in them. Thank you & very best wishes from John and all from the Childrens Hospice South West.
