Welcome to Change Leeds 2010, your chance to make a positive contribution to local communities in Leeds.

The concept is simple - Leeds Community Foundation is challenging individuals, organisations and companies to do something to help Change Leeds during the week of 11-15th October 2010. You can make a donation (here, on the Justgiving page), or organise a sponsored event.  Alternatively you can do something practical - donate food for a homeless shelter, cycle to work, volunteer in your lunchbreak.

All monies raised will be matched £1, for £1, thanks to a special government initiative called Grassroots Grants (from what was the Office of the Third Sector).  Just imagine - you make a donation of £10 and that becomes almost £25 with Gift Aid and the matching.

All the funds are then put into a special City of Leeds Fund which is then used to fund local community projects here in Leeds.
