I was so inspired and touched by Anup's story (Founder of the Charity) , an orphan himself who was taught cello by a priest ,Father Mathieson, and became a world renowned cellist. He is an amazing character; full of life and energy to help orphans in Calcutta get a decent education and learn an instrument.
They need funds in order to take in more orphan children and build a school for 400 children. What is amazing about this school is that every child learns a musical instrument.
So I thought how can I be of service?- lets do a gig and raise some money and have a great party to celebrate this wonderful Charity.
And so my great friends -all amazing musicians are coming together from Manchester and London to perform for you!
Yes and I shall be performing as SEEKR and my great friends Butterfly Jam, AY Ducane, Alexa Harley and The Bloody Jesters as well as the Great Anup Biswas!
We also will have some special guests and it is going to be at the fantastic venue, The HalfMoon on the Lower Richmond Rd in Putney.
I guarantee you will be blown away by the talent that you will witness this night. It will be just so wonderful to see everyone together and FEEL THE LOVE and help this wonderful Charity.
