My story
5/12/2012 Update: I would just like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported this incredibly worthy cause so far. I have been overwhelmed by your generosity and within the first 36 hours of launching the page we have almost hit our original target of £5,000, which is just amazing.
Your compassion and generosity has inspired me to work even harder to try and achieve a new goal of £15,000. It really is such a worthy cause and means so much to me on a personal level, so please continue to support us and donate as much or as little as you can to help me reach my new target in memory of my dad.

I have always been a big fan of Christmas from my early years, and even more so now.
I lost my mum at a young age to cancer which left me, my dad and my three brothers. My dad and I became extremely close, so losing him in 2009 to epilepsy was the second biggest punch in the guts I've ever experienced.
We had no notice; one minute he was here, the next he was not.
I have always put up Christmas decorations, but since losing my dad I have made it my mission to make them bigger and better every year. All I ask is that if you see my lights please donate as much or as little as you can to Epilepsy Research UK. If I can help someone else suffering with epilepsy in any way to have a fuller and more enjoyable life, then I will do all I can.
