The Air Ambulance which serves Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire, and which has landed on our playing fields to attend injured boys a number of times, is in need of a model replica helicopter to promote their services. If we can raise enough by the end of May, they will be able to purchase it in time for the summer.
The event I was planning for has been postponed - I hope we can all support my colleague Ru Jarvis, who has longer legs than me
I shall be racing in a 100-mile ultra-marathon this Saturday in the Wessex/South Downs area (www.wessex100.org.uk if you want to have a look at what’s involved, or www.wessex100.org.uk/route/wessex100.html for a map of the route).
Sponsorship is via www.justgiving.com/rupertjarvis, together with a few more details about what’s involved.
The Air Ambulance is a horribly important cause, and we all know the efforts that are going to support it. But if you haven’t turned your moral support into financial help yet, perhaps now is the time…

Thanks for looking, and have a fabulous week. And if you are on the east side of Winchester at 3 o’clock next Sunday morning, feel free to give me a cheer J
