Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page dedicated to Chazz Haddon.

We're celebrating the life of CHAZZ HADDON, enigmatic front man of OU EST LE SWIMMING POOL who sadly took his own life on Friday 20th August 2010 shortly after the bands performance at Belgium’s Pukkelpop Festival. The extremely sad news has shocked friends and family and rocked the music industry due to Chazz’s outgoing personality and the band’s popularity.

The World has lost a truly great man.

At this dark time, OU EST LE SWIMMING POOL and friends have rallied around to present CHAZZSTOCK, an evening put on by friends and family to celebrate his life and achievements. Profits from the event are going to be split between the charity MIND and Charlie's family.

However we also really want to help the great charity CALM as well, so we have set up this page for people who may or may not be attending the show and want to show support, and help us beat Britain's biggest killer in young men, suicide.

CALM

CALM, the campaign against living miserably, is a charity dedicated to reducing suicide in young men, suicide is the biggest killer of men aged under 35 in the UK, with around 3 deaths a day of men in this age group.

The charity runs a helpline and website offering support, advice and information.  CALM was established in 2006 with Anthony Wilson as one of the founding Trustees.   From the start this award-winning charity has used strong visuals and its music connections to create a highly effective reach to young men.   For more information see www.thecalmzone.net or contact info@thecalmzone.net
