As most of you will know Captain Chunk here used to be able to go to halloween parties as the human blimp and not even worry about a costume, that was 7.5st ago when I was 21st - I know.... I know.... when I used to go swimming I'd dive in and the water would dive out / I wasn't allowed near the beach cos I'd block out the sun or Save-the-Goddamn-Funky-Whales Brigade would panic and try and get me back in the water  lol!!!  Least now I can tie my shoe laces without needing my inhaler after!!!

While dieting and training me socks off; I vowed when I was fit enough I would do something for this charity in honour of the memory of my beautiful baby nephew Ryan.  His short time here with his Mum and Dad and family was made as comfortable and dignified as humanly possible by the wonderful staff of the Princess Royal Maternity.  These stars were amazing when they looked after my sister, her angel Ryan and her husband Michael and also later on with their other beautiful boys - Ethan and Cian, providing the highest level of care, love and support........

I just thought it was time to try and give a little back to a charity who could help the big and little peeps......

A bit of an update - SO LOOKING FORWARD TO DOING THIS!!!  Although, the all out - catch everyone in front of me attitude may be fine-tuned a bit......  Having an op on my hand on Thursday before the run on Sunday, but the last time I checked I run on my feet - so as the Meerkat so aptly puts it - simples!  Thanx again for visiting!! =)
