About the charity

ChildLine is the free helpline for children and young people in the UK. Children and young people can call at any time of the night or day. That's because ChildLine's helpline is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. But without help, that might change because of the lack of funds. ChildLine is in urgent need of funds so that we can continue to stay open overnight, which is when some of the most desperate children need us most.
