The Children's Foundation – Children’s Hospital Appeal

The new children’s hospital at the RVI will be a fantastic resource for the whole region, and your donations will add value so that children and young people attending will have the best possible experience to aid their recovery and improve their wellbeing, but also reduce the stresses and strains impacted on the whole family at a very difficult time.

The Children's Foundation’s fundraising campaign will provide activities, furnishings and equipment to aid children’s recovery including:

• sessional work for the Clown Doctors programme
• performances by specialist groups who will deliver drama, song and pantomime to children, young people and their families    
• fun and exciting furnishings that children will find appealing and distract them from their situation
• bespoke, state-of-the-art, interactive floor and wall projection systems to truly enhance the children’s experience of the hospital 
• a digitized projection system in treatment and anaesthetic room
• ‘cutting edge’ technology to link medical devices to the projection system
• Digitising children’s artwork
