Dear friends, The 3 peaks challenge is a gruelling 26 mile hike across the high mountain terrains of Yorkshire. It will be all done in one day and will take approximately 12 hours to complete. I aim to conquer the summits of Pen-y-ghent (694 metres - 2,276 feet), Whernside (736 metres - 2,415 feet) and Ingleborough (723 metres 2,372 feet). In preparation for this mighty task, I have practicing in the Chilterns on most weekends and my realisation to date is that this isn't going to be easy or enjoyable. However, every once in a while I get a funny feeling in my heart. Some have identified it as "compassion" whilst others have referred to it as "selflessness". I personally think it is just madness but now I have signed up and paid my registration fee there is no way out! I thought you might like to know that as my mental will power, physical stamina and internal character are all tested I will be turning to the print out of all my donations to date to inspire me to finish. So please please please sponsor me. As the credit crunch bites, I can appreciate it might be difficult to dig deep - but dig nonetheless - all donations will be gratefully received Thanks Chirag Small print: Please note that although "all donations" are gratefully received, this statement has been made out of politeness. Chirag expects atleast a fiver!
