Like Paula I had to drop out of last year's marathon but unlike Paula I'm back this year with a vengance! To make it more of a challenge I also decided to put on about 2 stone and strain my calf every other run. All completely worth it though!

My wonderful housemate Maggie works for a fantastic charity and having met a number of the staff, I can't emphasise enough what a  remarkable organisation they are.

The British Association For Adoption And Fostering helps to find families for hundreds of children from care every year. They provide advice and support to adoptive and foster families and campaign for children's rights. Supporting BAAF helps children who have had the most difficult starts in life to face a brighter future.

Thanks for all your support, it's really appreciated.
