Cho Oyu in the Himalayas, is the 6th highest mountain in the world at 8,201m. We reached the summit on 24th September during our 6 week expedition. In doing so, we have so far raised a fantastic amount of money in aid of Cancer Research UK. We are now very close to our target of £100,000. We do hope to reach this and are still accepting donations. If you feel able to contribute, we would be very grateful. The trip costs have been funded separately by two major sponsors and therefore, all of the amount above will go solely to Cancer Research UK. The Just Giving website allows individuals to donate directly to Cancer Research with the added benefit of their donation, where appropriate, being enhanced by Gift Aid. For more information have a look at our website: www.chooyu2009.co.uk
Please note: we have adusted the offline figure raised to include offline donations PLUS the Giftaid contribution. This means that the total displayed above (offline and online) reflects the final amount that will ultimately reach Cancer Research UK. (Total correct as of 16.11.09).
Thank you!
