Nearly a month has passed since we flew around the capital in the 30th London Marathon. So what's new? Well, I think both of us have enjoyed a bit of a break from running, but both now starting to get moving again. Chris has got back to his footie matches, and I've been training with the tri club.
With my final London time being a slightly disappointing 4h53 (I think) I've signed up for the Chester marathon on 31st May to try to get a bit faster. I'm not sure at this point whether my knees will cope, but I think I'm going to get to the start line anyway and we'll just have to see what happens!
And with these marathon endeavours continuing, we're also still collecting for Asthma UK. We have some money offline to go on here, including the proceeds from my "Guess My Time" competition, but we'd like to claw our way closer to the big £1500 target.
If you'd like to add a couple of pounds to push me on with Chester, please feel free to do so!
In the meantime, I'll be enjoying the sunshine this weekend, training and helping out with the new junior section of the tri club - I reckon come Monday I'll be ready for the weekend!

Hmmm... I think it's fair to say that was uncomfortable... and still is this morning! I can't bend my legs and I have ridiculous sore bits where my sports bra decided to slice into my back! I think I also have slightly sunburned lips!! But hey, finished, and enjoyed the day, so that's the main thing, right?! Back to bed for a bit now!!! So glad I booked a half day at work! x Nic
