Hi and thanks for stopping by!
I have decided to run the New York Marathon on the 1st November 2009. Crazy I hear you cry! Yes indeed, but what's not crazy is that I'm trying to raise money for a very worthy cause, Cystic Fibrosis.
The facts (Please read)
Cystic fibrosis is one of the most common genetic diseases.
1 in every 25 people is a carrier of the gene associated with CF.
If two carriers have a child, the baby has a 1 in 4 chance of having Cystic Fibrosis.
There is no known cure for CF, and most individuals with cystic fibrosis die young: many in their 20s and 30s from lung failure.
