My story

My first cricket coach Trevor Ward died last year from Bowel Cancer and as a consequence my  awareness of this disease has increased greatly. Trevor was a wonderful man who, along with his famliy, became great friends. I am running this marathon to raise money for a very worthwhile charity and also in memory of a man who had a very positive impact on everyone he met.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Bowel Cancer UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please, please dig deep and sponsor Lou and I for running this marathon. Every penny really does count and will be greatly received.

Many thanks for your support.
