My personal message:

Jack Bauer style, I have 24 hours to climb three mountains, OK its not quite as difficult as preventing a terrorist attack, but it's not far off.

If everyone I ask to sponsor me sticks in £1 I will probably still raise a lot of money, so even if you are broke, go on stick a quid in. Please don't be shy to give a small amount, it will all addd up, and will still be motivating.

I appreciate that loads of these begging letters go out these days, but even a little bit will help, and this is an absolutely gruelling event. It is without doubt the most challenging outdoors event I have ever attempted.
