My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

The challenge is to circumnavigate the Isle Of Wight using a kite and board.
The distance is over 50 Nautical Miles or over 95km.
I first attempted this in June 2004, i managed to get most of the way round but unfortunately the wind changed direction and i was forced to stop.
This time hopefully it will be achieved.
No one has ever achieved this before and is extremely difficult due to lots of navigating around the island with strong currents, tides and varying wind plus the physical endurance of six hours plus of kitesurfing in difficult conditions.
The RNLI do a fantastic job for us i want to help raise some funding for them.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

UPDATE 17th March  - Unfortunately the forecast for this week is very bad so i have had to postpone the attempt until 3rd April, which is when the next tidal window is favourable . Thanks so much for all the support to date. Chris
