This will not only extend treatment options to patients for whom no effective treatment exists but also create a team of committed doctors and scientists who can work together to crack this disease.

Our personal message:

Chris Wellaway and David Harrison are going to cycle 100 miles!

On 18th May we are going to do a 100 mile bike ride, the Dorset 100. We felt we ought to attempt to raise some money for charity at the same time!   It will make the many winter training rides worthwhile!

We'd love to raise as much money as possible for a good cause.  For those who don't know Geoff Thomas is a former professional footballer who was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia soon after retiring and was given 3 years to live.  He beat the disease and has gone on to raise lots of money for leukemia research by doing such things as cycling the Tour de France which we thought was quite appropriate.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Geoff Thomas Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
