Story
THANK YOU FOR VISITING THIS FUNDRAISING SITE!
Introduction
I'm running the Berlin Marathon on 28th September this year. I'm supporting the British Liver Trust because - like them - I believe there isn't enough recognition of how serious liver disease is. I've seen first-hand the effects it can have on people who hardly ever drank a drop of alcohol, and frankly that surprised me enough to want to support them.
Why to donate
- Most people remain unaware that 50% of liver disease is NOT related to alcohol.
- Most people remain unaware of the risks related to hepatitis infection.
- Most people remain unaware that their lifestyles are having a major impact on the health of their liver and their life expectancy.
How to donate
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. British Liver Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks in advance for your support.
More about British Liver Trust
British Liver Trust is a small registered charity based in Ringwood, Hampshire. It's the only charity in the UK dedicated to helping adults affected by liver diseases, championing better awareness and recognition that liver disease is one of the five most serious health problems in the UK.
Think of them as the liver equivalent of British Heart Foundation!
