My half century is coming up on 11 December and I would like to ask anyone who knows me not to get me a card or present but to make a donation to the Pattaya Orphanage Trust. I have supported this charity since my brother, who lives in Thailand and works in many of the Far East countries, introduced me to them. I even had the pleasure of watching some of the children give a Christmas Carol concert when I was out there in 1998
