About my charity : Veninos Veninos
Veniņos - Venezuelan Children In Need - is a UK registered charity dedicated to improving the lives of street and shantytown children in urban Venezuela. It has no religious or political affiliation.The funds raised by Veniņos will be used to support projects run by well respected non government organisations operating in Venezuela.

My personal message:

Having a mad work life has provided the ideal excuse for not getting to the gym for too long. So, in need of a big challenge to get me exercising, I have signed up to cycle from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon in September 2008 with Global Challenge Adventures (http://charityadventures.co.uk/vegas2canyon/).

The added benefit is that the ride is a fund-raising ride for an excellent charity called Veninos (see below left) that works with children from the poorest families in Venezuela.

My fund raising target is £2,895 so I need your help - and I very much hope that's why you're reading this page. So please give generously, declaring if you're a UK taxpayer if possible in order to add an additional 28% to the donation.

In addition to your donations I am paying for my own trip, contributing £1,400 plus my registration fee of £249.

If you are mad enough to rise to the challenge please give me a call and join me - it's 300 miles in 6 days.

And think of me from 3rd to 10th September cycling on the edges of the Mojave and Nevada deserts!
