On Monday 21 December 2009 Meningitis Research Foundation staff along with local strongman Glenn Ross aka Santa will be taking up residence in Crumlin Road Prison. At exactly 08.00 hours the 3 prisoners will be locked in the prison and only released when the required amount of bail money has been raised! The alternative is no turkey dinner for them.
To date the trio have raised almost £1000 of vital funds for Meningitis Research Foundation, however they need your help to increase this to £4000 in order to secure their release in time for Christmas. Strongman Glenn Ross said “Please get behind this worthwhile cause and don’t have the poor girls behind bars with me for Christmas. Donate whatever you can as every penny counts in the fight against meningitis and septicaemia.”
