Hope House is a children's hospice organisation providing care for terminally ill children and support for their families. Hope House has two hospices - at Oswestry, Shropshire and Conwy, North Wales - and also offers care in the family home. Support and counselling is offered to parents and other family members for as long as necessary.

Latest News: We Did it.

Not only did we complete the raid but we also won a couple of trophies:- The Highlander Trophy for fastest boat carrying all camping gear and being self sufficient. and first overall in Class 3 (Drascombes).

What's it all about?
The Challenge
'Raid': expedition for boats powered by sail and oars
To sail or row a 5.6m open boat (Drascombe Lugger) 66 miles from Fort William to Inverness, in 6 days, without the assistance of an outboard motor or a proper bed.

When a parent is told their child will not live to be an adult it is the start of an agonising journey. A childhood terminal illness challenges every belief, emotion and dream a parent may have for their special son or daughter.
Hope House in Oswestry and Ty Gobaith in Conwy provide practical and emotional support to families facing the pain of losing their precious child.
