We live in a world of abundance, yet millions of children in our world suffer from a lack of food, health care, neglect and abuse. Among all children, the children in Africa suffer most. This September I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa in an effort to raise money for ChildReach International, a non-profit charitable organization that works hard for these less fortunte children. After climbing the summit, as a volunteer relief worker with ChildReach International, I will be working on a variety of projects, translating your money into action and making a direct impact on these children's lives. Here are some examples on how your donation can improve the lives of children living in poverty: -$4 pays for a mother and child living in a remote area of Nepal to attend a health camp and receive life saving vaccinations -$10 per month pays for an orphan in Tanzania to attend a vocational training centre and work towards a recognized quailification -$100 buys exercise books for a primary school in Uganda -$800 pays for a water pump to be installed in a village in Africa so children can get clean, safe water Any donation is greatly appreciated since every dollar has tremendous impact. My minimum fundraising target goal is 2000 pounds which is the equivalency of $4000 Canadian Dollars. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and completely secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: ChildReach International gets your money directly. All it takes is a small donation to make all the world of a difference for those who are less fortunate than us. Please donate today!
