Byte Night is a fantastic cause and was the brainchild of an IT PR director, Ken Deeks.  I think it is a tribute to the PR industry that an idea like this can generate so much income year on year for such a good cause.  Just like last year, I will be praying for a dry night.  But the thousands of young people who are homeless on the streets of our cities experience many, many wet nights and Byte Night exists to help get those people off the streets and into shelter.
