Hello everyone, Stephen Thomson, Josie Goodale, Andrew Bisset, Gerald Littlejohn, JD Dorrian, Andrew Rivers, Richard Moir, James MacDonald from the Scotland Trilogy Office have entered into this year’s Martin Curries Rob Roy Challenge, a 55 mile Walking and Cycling Challenge on the 20th of June 2009.
Cisco Team One and Cisco Team Two begin their epic journey at 7am on Saturday morning, we start by walking the first 16 miles from Drymen, near Loch Lomond, north-east through The Trossachs to Callander. After a pit stop in Callander to refuel for lunch, we will mount our sturdy Mountain Bikes to cycle the 39 miles via Balquhidder to Kenmore on the banks of Loch Tay.
To help us on our way we are raising money for Sightsavers, an international charity dedicated to combating blindness in developing countries. We appreciate you all get lots of charity support requests from family and friends, however we would really appreciate it if you could sponsor us for what I am sure you will agree is a very worthwhile and deserving cause.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Sightsavers Int will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Thanks in advance for your support
The Cisco Rob Roy Challenge Team 2009
