Devon Air Ambulance Trust- Royal Marines Commando Challenge 2008 · 11 October 2008 ·

Devon Air Ambulance Trust is the charity that raises the funds to keep Devon’s two air ambulances flying and fleet of Critical Care Cars responding. We can only be there for those in need, with your continued kindness and support. Together, we are Devon Air Ambulance.

Story

Hello there. Thanks for dropping by.

On 12 October 2008, we'll be getting dirty, very dirty - but don't worry, it's all for charity.

Crawford and Phil from Citigate Dewe Rogerson, plus Phil's mate Stav, are taking part in the Royal Marine Commando Challenge - a gnarly 7 mile run and obstacle course.

Blood, sweat, tears - and mud - are guaranteed.

We're raising money for Devon Air Ambulance Trust and Help for Heroes. The Air Ambulance Trust needs over £2 million every year to run its missions (some 13,000+ and counting so far), while Help for Heroes was formed to deliver direct support for wounded servicemen returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Devon Air Ambulance Trust and HfH gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Update: Thanks everyone for donating, in both cash and on this site. There's still time to give though, if you haven't got round to it yet. If you want to hear how we got on, then visit my running blog.
