Ice Hockey? Yes, I've heard of that....!!!!!!

In the latter half of last year, I thought it might be a laugh to learn to ice skate. Then, when I could stand up more than fall down, I hoped that one day, I might be allowed near a hockey game.

Well that day arrives on  July 19/20th, when the first  UK Forum All Star Weekend blasts into Ice Sheffield. This is 2 days of ice based frivolities, culminating in a hockey game between 2 sides culled from the cream of the crop of players registered on the forums of the teams of the EIHL. And me.

Yes, for reasons best known only to themselves, most likely comedy value, the organisers have asked me to be a part of the game. A proud member of the All Star Indians Team. And proud I am to be there. (Didn't know pride was that colour, but there you go).

Seriously, the whole point of the weekend is to raise as much money as we can for the Dreams Come True charity, and help to put some smiles on the faces of a few children. Any assistance you can give to this end, however big or small, will be gratefully received I can assure you.
