St Lukes chehsire Hospice Midnight Walk · 3 June 2008

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing specialist, palliative care and support to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Our support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and ultimately end of life care.

Story

Hi there everyone!.... Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am taking part this year in a 'Midnight Walk' to try and raise money for St. Lukes Cheshire hospice.

I work at the hospice as a Bowen Therapist, helping patients with post operative pain and restriction, lymphoedema and many other symptoms. It may interest you to know that I gave my time for one day each week on a volunteer basis for the first year, as I really wanted to be involved with the hospice and their amazing work. I am happy to say that it has been an honour working in the hospice to date and I hope it will continue for many years to come :-)

If you feel you can give something to support the hospice by sponsoring me in this event I would very much appreciate it.

I will be walking 13.1 miles, starting at midnight on 28th June 2008 ... and hoping to finish the walk in one piece without too many aches and pains (or blisters!)

MANY THANKS CLARE :-) x

P.S. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Luke's (Cheshire) Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
