Story

Paul and I are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to support the excellent work of the Education Centre for Children with Down syndrome.

ECCDS is a charity close to my heart, with centres in Hexham and Newton Aycliffe supporting the development of children with Down syndrome and their families.  My family's involvement in ECCDS began shortly after the birth of our son Finlay.  Finlay now attends weekly sessions at the Hexham Group, along with other kids from across Tynedale, Northumberland, Cumbria, Tyne & Wear and Co Durham.  The Hexham group is run by my immensely dedicated wife Helen, supported by Finlay's Granny, sister Amelie and several other fantastic voluntary workers.

To support the continued good work and further development of ECCDS, myself and friend and colleague Paul have taken up the 7 day challenge to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro, the roof top of Africa!

Paul and I would both like to thank you in anticipation of your support and generosity.
