Discover is a unique children’s story making centre based in Stratford, providing an exciting range of creative activities and events for children aged 0 – 11 years old and their families. Our vision is to support and encourage creativity and learning in one of the most deprived parts of London. Each year Discover welcomes over 55,000 visitors, yet despite our success and popularity, Discover currently receives no core revenue funding - they have to fundraise for every element of their work.
My niece often goes to Discover, as do the children of my friends and family. They always enjoy their time there and love the variety of educational activities on offer. I have huge respect and admiration for the hard work of Discover, such as their Community and Education programme aimed at underprivileged children and families, and their dedication to developing the creativity in children at a young age.
Please dig deep and donate whatever you can to help Discover to continue delivering this vital service to needy communities for years to come. You never know, it could be your own kids or nieces and nephews that reap the benefits in years to come.
