As many of you know our son Sam was born in 2008 with an undiagnosed heart condition which required surgery at just 3 days old to save his life. He is now a cheeky 3 1/2 year old and lives his life to the full. Children's Heart Federation help to support families of children with congential heart defects and also to raise awareness of heart problems. They have helped us by enabling us to meet with other heart families so that Sam gets to talk with other children that have heart problems, they can share their stories, look at each others scars and talk about their worries and fears. At the moment Sam is terrified of his check ups and we hope that spending time with other heart children will help him to get over this. I am taking part in the London 10k run on 8th July to raise money for CHF and hope that you can donate whatever spare change you have. Every pound really does help, thank you.
