Thank you for taking the time to visit the INSANE BOLTS JustGiving page. The team comprises 3 older folk and one spritely youngster: Neil Hall, Neel Gandesha, Andrew Wilson and Dean Graham. We hope to emulate a certain Jamaican in the news in events testing our physical, mental and problem-solving prowess, raising money as we go.
Our chosen charity is Opportunity International (OI), a charity that helps people help themselves. OI is a pioneer and global leader in the provision of financial services and training to entrepreneurs below the poverty line in 28 countries across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America.
It gives some of the poorest people in the world access to the financial services they need to lift themselves out of poverty and develop their small businesses in a way that fosters economic, social and spiritual growth.
We hope you agree that this is a very worthwhile cause and decide to give generously.
Last September, over 200 colleagues participated in the inaugural Corporate Markets Challenge – a one day event involving teams of four competing in a variety of safe, yet exciting activities in a stunning outdoor location.
The event raised £43,000 for our Wholesale charity partner, Opportunity International, making it the single most valuable fundraising activity we conducted last year.
This year, we’ll be holding a bigger, better Corporate Markets Challenge, the funds raised will go towards our next project for Opportunity International – our bank on wheels, for which we need to raise a grand total of £150,000.
The event will take place on Wednesday 23 September at Shuttleworth Park near Biggleswade.
