My story
In April, we will be running the 26.2 miles distance to complete the London Marathon on behalf of Special Olympics Great Britain. Our firm, CMS Cameron McKenna have been supporting SOGB since May 2011 through various fundraising and volunteering initiatives including the Three peaks Challenge, a 24 hour Running Relay, CMS Battle of the Bands and a European Wear the Laces Day.
Next up is the London Marathon and we can't wait! Training is going well and we're all really looking forward to it!
SOGB are an absolutely amazing charity and we are very proud that our firm is supporting them in providing year round sports competition to over 8000 people in the UK with learning disabilities.
We will be organising various events in the run up to the Marathon which you'll be hearing more about, in the meantime, any donations would be hugely appreciated!

Special Olympics Great Britain is the country’s major provider of sporting opportunities for people with a learning disability focusing on providing equality of opportunity for all athletes regardless of their level of athletic ability. It is a volunteer based organization, with 135 local branches and provides year-round sports training in a variety of Olympic type sports for over 8000 learning disabled people.
