UPDATE!!!

We have now completed the challenge!! It was complete agony but all 3 of us successfully completed the Coast to Coast in a total of 56 hours!!  We would love to get to a total of £1500 approximately before handing a big cheque over to St B's - so if you haven't sponsored us yet then please dig deep!!!


We are three young fellas from Lincoln, Chris Carr, Neil Bristow and Steve Davidson. We decided to do something adventurous and something that would be a challenge.. we planned out to do a hike from coast to coast of England, namely from Gretna Green to Whitley Bay - which is 80 miles and will take in 3 days of hiking on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd of August 2008!!

None of us are fit although we are getting there slowly but surely! We have been training on mountains around the UK and hopefully will be in a fit enough state to not collapse halfway through!

We decided on St Barnabas Hospice as the charity we would like to do this for as my wife's Step-Father was a patron of St Barnabas Hospice in 2007 before he passed away. They do an amazing job and they deserve every single penny!

It was also important that we raise money for a local charity, since we are all Lincoln folk!
