UCLH Charities is the official body to receive donations and legacies in relation to UCLH NHS Foundation Trust, and is one of the largest NHS charities in the country. UCLH Charities exists to provide support for patients and staff through training, additional equipment, improvements to clinical services and supporting pioneering research projects within the Trust. The Trust incorporates the Eastman Dental Hospital, the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson & Obstetric Hospital, the Heart Hospital, the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, the Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital, and University College Hospital (incorporating the former Middlesex Hospital).

Tatjana May, Geoffrey Gestetner, Charlie Power and George Weston will be skiing in the Coeur Blanc challenge.  The Coeur Blanc Ski Challenge has been established to raise funds in 2008 for a research project aimed at helping develop improved treaments for those diagnosed with Leukaemia.  Further details of the challenge may be found on the following website:  www.coeurblanc.eu.

We will attempt to ride all 53 ski lifts in the Meribel Valley in a single day.  This will involve a total ski descent of 15,000 m ... that's nearly two mount Everests!
