Well - it is all over (not too many aching limbs) and the team achieved a great time of 21 hours 4 minutes!!
Conditions on Ben Nevis were the worst experienced in the 7 years COINS have sponsored this event - rain/cloud/and heavy snow falling on the higher slopes - which meant that - for the safety of the event - the teams couldn't actually summit. Air rescue were out because of an accident to a climber, not associated with COINS event, but it did bring it home how percarious the hills can be!
The weather at Scafell (oh those bolder fields!) and Snowdon was great for walking.
The reception part at the end of the event was great - roast hog was a welcome change to energy bars and bananas!
