Story

Hello,

Thank you for visting our homepage to learn about the challenge and how you can support us.

We are 12 people (3 teams of 4) taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge in September.

Each team must raise £3,500 (minimum) with all money going to a very worthy cause 'The Railway Children'. This a UK based charity that helps under priviledged children throughout the UK but also in more severely deprived areas of the World like India, East Africa, Russia and Latin America. We have until Christmas to raise all of the money for charity.

We climb Mount Snowdon in Wales on Thursday at midnight, Scaffell Pike in England on Friday afternoon followed by Ben Nevis in Scotland on Saturday morning. The only time to rest is between each mountain on the train. The estimated time to complete the whole challenge is 36 hours.

We are trying many different avenues for raising cash and hope you help us achieve this even more difficult challenge. More importantly than that we want you to give to those children who are sufferring.

At this time of economic trouble it is easy to reflect on our own difficulties. However without your help those people far more needy than ourselves can be forgotten. In these times it is the needy that always suffer the most.

We are all employees of Colas Rail UK Limited with the core of our team from Engineering and Design.

Please dig deep and donate now.
