My story
As you'll be aware I've not done any sport since school and even then I hated cross country running. When I signed up for the Royal Parks half marathon I thought it would be relatively easy however 10 weeks into the training schedule I'm only now starting to realise how far 13.1 miles is when you are running! Less than 6 weeks to go and I'm starting to have sleepless nights.
My main motivation for running the marathon (apart from hitting 30 this month and wanting to achieve something!) is to raise money for the Rainbow Trust which is a really worthwhile children's charity. The trust provides both practical and emotional support to families with terminally ill children. Have a look at the video (My Video link on the left) for more information.
Any financial support you can offer would be greatly appreciated and I'm sure will act as an extra incentive to go for a run on cold, wet & windy evenings around Tooting Common.
