Set up in 1943, Tenovus is a leading cancer charity that invests around £3.9 million each year in pioneering cancer research, education and patient care. Tenovus also funds a Freephone Cancer Helpline (0808 808 1010), providing support to cancer patients and their families.

My story

Step 1 - See impending 50th birthday.
Step 2 - Make list of things to do before too old.
Step 3 - Complete first item on list - 'try Sushi'.
Step 4 - Read second item on list - 'make parachute jump'.
Step 5 - Walk about a bit. Re-read second item on list. Still says 'make parachute jump'.
Step 6 - Realise that enough people have expressed concerns about your sanity/health/sushi intake to make raising money for charity a worthwile option.

Latest news: Jump booked for 20 Sept, weather permitting somewhere above Swansea. The brochure promises 'spectacular views', and 'the thrill of free fall'. Hmm...
