With my friend Jeannie, I will be participating in the 'Run the Beat' London half marathon on September 27th 2009. I am doing this run to raise money for the Get Kids Going charity www.getkidsgoing.com. It is a great cause and I am trying to raise a lot of money to help them fund their sports programs for disabled kids.
I hope that some of you folks in the UK will come out to support us and to party with us after the race -- it should be a great party!! Personally, I am hugely excited to be running a race in London. I just started running earlier this year and this will be my second half marathon - my first in the UK!
